LONDON, UK

The 4th annual Ukrainian Energy Transition Forum took place in London, organised by Strategy Council in cooperation with Clyde & Co. IMPACTA LAW acted as co-organiser and coordinator of the Ukrainian component of the agenda.

The Forum continued the dialogue with Clyde & Co launched during the firm’s delegation visit to Kyiv. Developing effective modern solutions at the intersection of energy, law, finance and international partnership will have a long-term transformative impact on Ukraine’s energy security and the stability of the EU energy market.

IMPACTA LAW Managing Partner Oleksiy Feliv moderated the Forum’s first panel discussion. Representatives of state institutions, energy companies, international financial institutions and investors outlined practical approaches to rebuilding Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, developing decentralised generation, cogeneration capacity in local communities, energy storage systems and financing the energy transition. Speakers also focused on the prospects for cross-border electricity trading and the privatisation of major state-owned energy companies in Ukraine.

IMPACTA LAW continues to develop legal strategies for projects that create impact.

Bringing together expertise in energy, law, finance and international cooperation, IMPACTA Energy Hub – the firm’s sector platform in the energy sector – helps transform the needs of Ukraine’s energy reconstruction into structured, legally sound and investable solutions for clients.
