IMPACTA LAW is honoured to receive the Ukraine: Deal of the Year Award 2026 by CEE Legal Matters for its role in the Kyivstar Group Nasdaq Stock Market Listing project. The winners were announced on 27 May in Bucharest.

Our team, led by partners Illya Tkachuk and Igor Krasovskiy, acted as Ukrainian legal counsel to Cohen Circle Acquisition Corp. I in its business combination with JSC Kyivstar in connection with the listing of Ukraine’s telecom operator on the Nasdaq Stock Market in the United States.

The transaction also involved Morgan, Lewis & Bockius as counsel to Cohen Circle Acquisition Corp. I, as well as Latham & Watkins and Sayenko Kharenko as counsel to VEON, JSC Kyivstar’s parent company.

The transaction is a landmark for Ukraine’s capital markets and investment environment. It represents the first listing of a Ukrainian operating business on a major U.S. exchange during wartime and establishes a new pathway for Ukrainian companies to access international public capital markets through a SPAC structure.
