IMPACTA LAW welcomes Liudmyla Gorodnycha, Senior Associate specialising in competition and antitrust law. Liudmyla has over 20 years of experience at leading international and Ukrainian law firms, including Baker McKenzie and Schoenherr, as well as at Naftogaz of Ukraine and the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine (AMCU). She has represented companies before the AMCU and the courts, combining practical legal advisory experience with an understanding of regulatory approaches and clients’ commercial and strategic interests.

Liudmyla has extensive experience advising businesses, with particular expertise in energy and regulated markets. In her most recent role at Naftogaz of Ukraine, the largest state-owned oil and gas company in Ukraine, she served as Head of the Competition Issues Division, advising on merger control, competition compliance, AMCU proceedings and challenges to regulatory decisions.

At IMPACTA LAW, Liudmyla advises clients on concentrations and merger control, concerted practices, prevention of abuse of dominance, compliance with competition law, AMCU requests and investigations, as well as competition aspects of legal due diligence. She also conducts antitrust compliance audits and prepares legal positions for challenging AMCU decisions before the courts.
